#digitalmanip This image and article is a political statement about gun laws in America. Clearly a conservatism bashing on the President. It uses irony as the President is shooting holes into the Bill of Rights, while he is trying to control gun laws at the same time. As photo manipulation has gotten better ever since it has been invented it seems as if it has been used as a weapon or some way to hide the truth. Even more troublesome to me is that it seems that it is being used to create this world that we can never actually experience. As a photographer, I really don't like photoshop I find that it makes you image look cheap and unreal. A question that I want to know is that as technology continually gets better, is there still going to be the need for photography in the future? Or will we just be creating fake images from scratch of what we actually want to see? And by doing so does this make us blind to the world around u
